Feel hopeless? Think you've got to clean your act up before you go to church? Oh, how wrong you are! Jesus want you the way you are! He can 'clean' that mess up so much easier than you can!

The other day on the 'Today' show they said a person who jumped off a bridge to kill himself (and lived) realized at the very moment that he let go, all his problems where fixable!

Yea thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil.....

Does that sound unbelievable? It's true...Psalms 23

2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3 He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to his name.
4 Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.

They all say the same thing in different ways. But what they say is awesome. Tenneessee Earnie Ford said on one of his tapes, prayer does one of two things, it either gives you the strength to go through your situation, or it changes it.

God has never failed me. I have turned my back on Him and His ways so many times, but He's always there waiting for me! Forgiving me! How is it that God calls me friend....have I acted like His friend.....but He calls me friend!
